We believe the Bible to be God’s Word to humankind and so it is our ultimate guide. The main message of the Bible is God’s grace to us in Jesus Christ.
We have nothing in ourselves of merit to offer God, but are only and totally dependent on God’s free favor towards us shown in Jesus Christ.
The only appropriate response to the WORD of God’s GRACE is grateful acceptance and trust of that Word of Grace (i.e. FAITH in Jesus Christ).
Church of the Cross is a Reformed Church. "Reformed" means we adhere to the principles of the Protestant Reformation: the Word Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone. To God alone be the glory!
