Meet Pastor Jon Reyes, a dedicated and compassionate leader whose journey in faith and service has touched the lives of many. With a remarkable ability to inspire spiritual growth and nurture community connections, Pastor Reyes brings a wealth of experience to Church of the Cross. Known for his transformative sermons and heartfelt pastoral care, he excels in fostering an environment of unity and inclusiveness within diverse congregations.
Before joining Church of the Cross, Pastor Jon Reyes honed his leadership skills in the tech industry as a manager for Google in Sacramento, blending innovation with community engagement. His spiritual journey began in youth ministry, first at First Baptist of Rancho Cordova, then at El Camino Baptist Church. His passion for building faith communities led him to play a pivotal role in two church plants, where he served as a worship leader and core member. His commitment to serving God’s people was further demonstrated during his time as an Interim Pastor for a local church in Sacramento.
Today, Pastor Reyes is excited to be part of Church of the Cross, where he witnesses God's incredible movements firsthand. Committed to empowering individuals to deepen their faith and engage in meaningful service, he looks forward to contributing to the church's mission and seeing its impact grow.
